I got some shrugs as to how long you have to keep it going - only you have to get it connected to the program within 60 days :|.

If it's not connected within 60 days, they charge you the 50$. I need to know how long you have to be enrolled before you can remove yourself. I participated in another GP promo and the fine print...

Could you ask your friends if GA Power indeed claws back the TEMP $50 rebate if the thermostat is either not connected, it is connected but not to a heat pump, or one un-enrolls from the TEMP program...

I honestly don't know. I went with Ecobee as (1) online reviews/opinions tend to lean towards Ecobee and (2) I want to de-Googlize my life whenever possible, all things being equal :-)

The TEMP link has a ) in the URL. Just remove it as that's the only thing wrong. I'm going to ask friends who work for GP/SoCo for more details... if they're even aware.
