Got mine yesterday and it's amazing. The "Galaxy" colorway is gorgeous, and the unit itself is indistinguishable from brand new. I'm pretty sure Nintendo replaces all shell components with brand new...

In my experience, the items come as if "new" in quality. No fingerprints, dust, or signs of use whatsoever. Seems they have high standards. Ordered 2 refurb consoles last year

I have an original 3DS and a XL. Tempted to grab a New 3DS XL before they're all gone. With the library of 3DS and original DS games, I think this is still the best portable system available today.

I would also add that for the original 2DS, while a nice system overall, I felt the screen to be too small for certain games. Also, between the XL systems I find the New 2DS XL to feel the best in...
