I think its been the price recently- but not always. It just happens to come and go out of stock. Walmart matches (as they do typically), but free ship on $35. Target has them for $2.79 each.

Sustainability-wise and flavor/texture-wise, both almond and cashew fall greatly to oat milk. That being said, I completely agree. Creamy cashew > watery almond texture.
