It's not the same version. The Steam version is a direct port of the 3DS version. The Switch version came later and has several changes made.

Code of Princess EX is legitimately good, plenty of solid side scrolling brawler strategy mixed in with a lot of extra bits that weren’t in the 3DS version.
I loved the hell out of Blade...
