Got cancelation notice, they removed free shipping after the chair was cancelled because it was no longer padded over $50, and shipped the rest of the order. So I'm a bit mad I'm paying for padding...

I’ve used this set up at the beach...and it worked well. You are able to angle the umbrella from dicks, to where the sun is shining Down on you... I’m happy with it.

The canopy is permanently attached. When not in use, it sits right behind the chair itself. When you want to use it, you fold it up and forward, like an old convertible top

Sorry, I meant solid blue one, I don't think either one of these would fade as much as the solid ones ($7-$10 versions) so you should be good with blue OR red one. Also red one looks good on sand,...

It folds almost exactly like that Target one, except when folded up, this one's canopy doesn't wrap around the chair to also become the carrying case. I'd kindly advise not overthinking this....

This is a good deal ... But if you want a similar setup... I bought the ozark chairs at Walmart for $5 and for $7 dicks sporting goods sell an attachment umbrella for these types of folding chairs
