I got mine yesterday, well I got it for my sister, it says it's made in France by Staub. She loved the color(blue), she has been doing research on these and this just happened to fall on my lap....

Upon closer examination, the bottom of mine had a 1/8 inch spot of un-enameled iron. Called WS support, and they setup a "one-time exception" exchange, even though this is a Final Sale item

Received mine. Rim is not fully enameled, only a few spots, but not a big deal.

I have a couple new staubs and my rim on one has a chip after second use. Its not noticeable and hasn't rusted or anything but still a little irksome.

I snagged a red 7qt one. Ordered on the 3rd, shipped on the 4th. Strange to see these both on final sale and backordered. You'd think they had a finite stock for it to go on final sale

It's enamel coated, not ceramic. The fat you cook with penetrates and seasons the ENAMEL coating, creating a nonstick surface. I have had 3 of my Staub's for 8+ years and they are well seasoned and...

Good price but not great. Picked up a 5.5qt one from the Nordstrom sale a couple months back and another one about a year ago from Williams Sonoma. Both were about $85

You can't season a Staub like uncoated cast iron. The Staub is coated in ceramic and will not build up layers of seasoning.
