Got this from Costco for 99$. If you enable clear voice mode, it does a good job of improving the dialog. The Bass mode isn't too bad either. Great for augmentation of TV audio. I purchased the Solo...

I have to have "clear voice" on. Otherwise it is hard to hear...I also turn the bass off or to 1 and use a separate subwoofer, cause the bass is a bit muddy.

I was going to say buy this at Costco new for $15 more I got mine for $89 I think as Newegg is a terrible seller. I hooked a sub old Polk audio 10” and it sounds awesome!

Get the Bose 500 soundbar and the bassmodule 500...have been using it for over 2 yrs now...infact they are on sale at the bose outlet on eBay as well as bose.com

You mean DTS virtual X. Yamaha bars do not support DTS X.

What I hate about this unit is the voice clarity while watching tv. No matter what you do the voices are drowned out by the sound. Music is great. Tv shows are great. Movies with lots of action...

One thing I like is that it has a subwoofer port to plug in a wired sub but you cannot disable the built in

People are underestimating this feature: DTS:X. The biggest reason I bought the 1070 couple years back. It's subtle, but it's there.

I paid 149$ at Costco a year back and love this sound bar. It's obviously entry level but sounds amazing. With Costco return policy and warranty I'd pay the 50$ more
