The same Ito En Oi tea was under $10 several times last year and I dunno why $12 is considered a slick deal. I haven't finished my 4 cases when I got them for $7.64 each last December.

This is a high quality brand of tea in Japan. Thing is that the made-in-Taiwan variant is not as good as the made-in-Japan variant. But the made-in-Taiwan variant is all you will get here in the US....

I like it, but IMHO its taste is weak/soft. This is not strong brewed at all, maybe being unsweetened is what makes it feel like that for you?
