Tried it, no luck...I rubbed those magic erasers down to the last fibers (2 of them) and they did "smudge" the pencils and markers but still had to paint over

So true, toddlers don't know how to stay on the paper and end up on the table and adjacent areas. Then they take it with them around the house when you aren't looking.

Used old fabric softener sheets. I didn't believe it at first until my mom showed me. Worked really well for our walls! Good luck!
