My g930s just died the other month when the mic boom plastic snapped. Lasted 8 years. I got the kingston cloud II's and I regret it. The logitech headsets are amazing.

I have the thresher 7.1, its the older more expensive sibling. Its lasted me 2yrs. The plastic on the hinges broke on both sides.

If you have the controller mic adapter, it has a mute button on it which would make it a bit more tenable. That is an extra expense, though.

I bought these about a month ago, for the price they are okay. I have had issues with the mic and game chat where I cant hear the others I the game.
