Mexican style Pinto Beans and Pork Chili Verde in my Insignia Brand Instant Pot came out Restaurant quality. We need to use it more, but the Wife seems to like to cook in more of a traditional way.

Just FYI - I have a T-Fal nonstick pot that has a glass lid on it. It fits perfectly on the Instant Pot. If you have one laying around, try it to save a little cash.

We use silicon lids now. Far better for allowing some air or steam to escape. Also for grease splatters.

We just use a splatter screen when sautéing. You can even get one at the dollar store if you don't already have one. Otherwise we use one of our silicon covers if we just need a lid.
