Yes newer has not much difference but people pay more for newer model and that is on their decision. But I believe the original reply actually messed up with a CX.

So the cx has a better processor than last year's c9 that was very popular. The cx and gx are hardware and screen identical but the gx mounts flush with the wall and is beautiful for a tv on or off....

When you buy from greentoe they use only authorized dealer. You will get a receipt with the tv that you register the warranty through.

I've watched/read several reviews of the GX v G9. There does not appear to be much difference between the two lines other than an updated UI. The $500 premium on the GX is a tough sale.

Bought yesterday and shipped today. I'll bet this tv will be around 2600 come back Friday but not worth the wait. The gx also has voice activation to control without remote (cx does not). I love that...

Well last year's 65C9 released at $3500 and could be had via Greentoe for $1749 by end of October. That's from their authorized dealer network so no risk of grey market. I doubt the GX will get that...

G model is a gallery model that has a special design you can put it on the wall like an art. It also has better speaker but that is not the main purpose of this model.
