Nvidia is compatible with Freesync. So that doesn't matter anymore. Gsync is slightly better tho

Depends which model. I've got the Acer Predator X34p, which is 120hz, 3440x1440p, IPS panel, and has G Sync. MSRP is around $1k, but you can usually find it cheaper. So the refresh rate on that...
