No dude. Just no. Non retina 2012 MBP only takes DDR3 SO-DIMMs. The Retina version's RAM cannot be upgraded at all because apple decided to start soldering it on the logic board.

I've never had a problem with G.Skill memory, be it Ripjaws or Sniper or Trident. There are other brands in the same ballpark of price, though.
