That seems to be the argument, but Vudu knows that would have led to their demise. They would have closed A LOT of accounts. They just wanted to show they were in control, not go bankrupt.

It’s not really that Vudu does not have UHD versions of these movies, it’s that this sale only gets you HDX, even if they sell UHD version for the same price.

They were selling Scooby-doo episodes that were VHS rips as sd copies.
