I have this and it's one of the best pressure cooker with no gasket problems. You have to get used to the lid closing, that's what makes the gasket lasts longer.

Aluminum ones are bad. Go for stainless steel ones. Health wise, cleaning wise, look wise. Plus who wants to deal with handwashing these because aluminum ones are not dishwasher safe.

They’re still considered stainless as the aluminum is encased in stainless. Never good for food to cook directly in contact with aluminum.

I have both and I'd take my fagor hands down. Quicker, easier to cook with and tell when it's done, plus maybe it's just me but the pressure releases quicker.
