Carrera's are the only pair of sunglasses that I've owned where the lenses developed spider cracks for absolutely no reason. I did love the look though.

I have both polarized and not. Both have their merits. I would not make a blanket statement "go polarized or go home". Polarized are a must for water or snow IMHO.
