Dude you need to go back to math class. He's right. Just estimate it to see. He's saying it's just over 50% larger. 50% of 64 is 32. 32+64 = 96. It's close to 100 because we rounded.

Similar model sold by home depot for $100. As with all of these things, using the guy lines will prevent most collapses. Straight legs. Worth the $69. Just get a model that has a silver coating...

On a theoretical level, yes, slants will have more lateral (sideways) stability. On a practical level, probably no worse or no better than straight legs because manufacturers take the added stability...
