They've come a long way.. Battery life doubled from a V7 to a V10 (not much difference to the V11 though with the auto floor detection, it came give you more battery life)

You're right -the V10 comes with the Torque head (I thought it didn't), but the V11 adjusts the suction automatically depending on the type of floor. This makes it go easier on hard floors.

Ideally the Absolute because of the soft brush head, but the Total has a stronger motor then the Animal, so it should be better on tile and laminate without the special brush head.
