I bought the Home Depot set and they were excellent. These look cheaply made. Would wait for the HD sale and buy those instead if you’re not in a hurry

I've tried plastic sawhorses a few times --- they invariably became "free curbside pickup" not long after, if you catch my drift. Sawhorses have since moved over to my "buy once, buy for life"...

Pretty good deal, but personally I regretted buying a plastic set of saw horses. Might be ok for very light use

I bought these last year and finally threw them in the trash. The plastic hinge on the bottom broke apart on both sawhorses after about a dozen uses, so now the legs can spread too far allowing it...

Bought one. Thanks OP. It might qualify for $5 cashback if you have the Shop Small Business Amex Offer. I know when I shop Ace in-store, it qualifies. Not sure about store pickup.

Basically what others have said. You have to treat them carefully. Garage work tends to involve bulky and heavy objects. Too easy to accidently break them.

FWIW these ring up at $17.xx at Walmart. They show $25 on the shelf but I bought 2 for $17 something and by brother in law did too a few months later.

All we care about is did they do well in that task? Whiny neighbor squabbles are of little concern to us....

Same experience for me but was with a different but similar looking plastic set. It was good for 1 or 2 uses and then wobbled and was challenging to set up correctly.

Suppose someone wants the cheap plastic ones. They have to be better than the harbor freight ones. Right?

A couple pieces of twine or even some lengths of duct tape would easily take care of that.

I did the same. I used 2x4. I recommend running a board as well, cut slots on the 2x4 so it fits in snuggly. Screw on a sheet of plywood on top and its a decent table to put stuff on or other light...
