From what i've read this is made by Scanpan from Denmark which is a premium product maybe look to see if you match this set to see if you can get some more review insight but Scanpan is quality.

Dunno about your pricing question, but an 11" ScanPan for 30 bucks is a steal. The WS Stratanium line is made in Denmark by ScanPan and gets solid reviews. Grabbed one for family cooking.

Pretty sure it's only on specific categories in the clearance section. Not just all sale items. And yeah, many items are out of stock for delivery and only in limited areas for pickup.
