Lotsa noise, which is fine for us because it doubles as a white noise machine, but you have to use with a smart plug because the on/off dial is the dumbest, most non human centric thing ever.

Unless you only have a small space to set the fan, you are better off with Vornado's larger fans that do significantly more to move more air while also being quieter.

Some fans with digital settings will default to off when the AC plug is powered. Interaction is still needed with the actual fan to turn on even when the plug is energized.
