I shop here every once and a while and you are correct. All retail prices are about 50% marked up and sale items, on knives at least,are about $10 lower than normal pricing. Screw La Table

The prices seem off to me. The starting prices seem a bit high only to be discounted to a more reasonable starting price. 400-500$ for a 5.5qt is ridiculous.

They do work just as good, but they chip. The chips don't affect the performance, but baby sitting them so they don't rust and the annoyance in keeping the chipped areas clean is perpetual. IMO...
