I'm almost certain the arc is better IF you also get the sub and surrounds. At that point you could have three sets of these. That being said, 580 is also big money for a vizio soundbar.

Your only gripe about the 36 is the cloth cover. The fix to this is spending $300 more for the 46. I couldn't justify getting the 46 only for the looks. On top of that, the new models will come out...
