My new house has the TV above the Fireplace which I don't like. This mount lets you pull the TV down to a better viewing position. I've also got an extension from Amazon that lets me mount my...

I moved into a new house about a year ago and the only place for a tv without cutting off a corner or blocking windows was to mount it above the tv. Picked one of these and had it installed and it's...

I've had this installed for just about a year and really love it. Currently using it with a 46/48 inch TV but planned ahead to be able to mount a larger 60" TV sometime in the future. Installation...

A word of caution. I bought the Aeon 50300 version of this (different store but same principle). Installation was OK, but if your TV is very big, it might be difficult to reach to center of mount...

Installing a sound bar is completely doable. I did that myself. But, it does throw the weight off a bit. It still goes up and down, but is now a little more difficult to do. My wife was fine...

Did you use the bottom-most screw hole in the mounting arm to connect to the bottom VESA holes on your TV? And even then it still shows the mounting bracket on the wall? I'm wondering if you could...

Been looking at one of these for my master bedroom to mount our tv above the dresser, has anyone done/seen it used like that before?

The mount is heavy duty and pulls down. Post your $40 mount and let's compare. The box easily weighs thirty pounds or more. In fact, checked, box weighs 42lbs. My TV is 81lbs and my speaker is...

The newer one has the sound bar mount included. If your TV isn't testing the weight limits then that is the way to go.

Anybody use this for a LG OLED? Reviews say that it makes the TV very high with a lot of the mount visible when in the “up” position. This is due to the VESA holes on the LG’s being towards the...

I wouldn't buy it used either. There's just too much of a risk that some tiny part is missing, bent, or fubared and I wouldn't find out about it until the TV came crashing down.

I've got the same situation, I did a lot of research and ended up going with a Mantel Mount. Very happy with it. I have a heavy Sony 65 inch and didn't want to risk it. Moves with ease. No, I'm not...

I'm in TX. Plenty of useless fireplaces here, but maybe the second wave has put people off buying locally. Edit: looking at my model, it's a smaller one, 40-63 in, 70.5 lb limit. So not comparable...

right.. seems like its not as good as it sounds. more traditional with a centered tv stand seems more practical and delivery more quality/value over the seeming value of putting it right over the...

I have this exact mount for our Samsung 75 incher. I can confirm that it works super well. Adjustments are easy and the mount itself is very sturdy as well. I had used only 2 stud mounting points,...

I'm looking for one to use in our living room. My wife wants to mount the TV above a tall console, and this might be perfect.

This one appears to be the newer version and is the same price. Any reason why the one posted by the OP would be better than the newer version? https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=39306

I have this mount with a 65" TCL and you see the bottom horizontal bracket that's attached to the wall when it's in the up position. I'm assuming the same would be true for people asking about LG...

I have this exact model. It's built very sturdy. The gas spring give good control over a range of weights if properly adjusted (hint: use a drill). The red bicycle handlebars to pull it down are a...

I also have the slightly smaller mount. I went with it because OLED tvs tend to be a lot lighter than the typical tv the mounts are rated for. I have an LG OLED and I do not recommend this mount. ...

You made me laugh with the exclamation mark. I take it you have OCD? You'd hate our media room. One wall is longer than the other, so either the seating is off-center, or the TV is, and either way,...

This looks like a cool product, however we have a Vizio v705-g3 with a really low VESA mount and from what I can tell the bracket will be visible on the wall with it pushed up flush. Was hoping...
