Install pi-hole on one and use it as a whole-home ad-blocker. I just did that, and it works better than most of the in-browser adblockers. As a plus it'll also block mobile ads when you're at home.

When the Pi 4 was new there were problems with Kodi, minor bugs. This is no longer true. I replaced a 3b with a 4 and it runs Kodi flawlessly.
