Are you sure you can’t just access the hard drive via diskpart to clean the entire drive and then create a new volume in Windows disk management?

Nice deal. A word of caution: drive comes with separate pertition that contains security software. Partition can not be deleted/unmounted. Wanted to jump in on the last time this was a deal but...

AFAIK, no. Read the reviews, there's no way to get rid of the partition. It needs a new firmware. I could be wrong, tho.
