I had similar model from hp from office depot here. It overheats all the time and has a jet noise. Keeps that in mind. Returned mine immediately

Memory upgrading requires removal of the chasis. HP doesn’t consider that user accessible. It is doable.

There are 2 slots. You can replace the 8 with a 16. Look at YouTube for instructions on opening the 15 series case to access the memory.

It’s not a bad iGPU at all. I have a Surface Pro at work with that same CPU and it is surprisingly capable of gaming with modern titles at 720p.
