I bought the MK4 during the last sale. It takes the temperature very fast. It's expensive but using it often I've realized I've been overcooking meat. Worth the cost if you cook a lot.

I was interested in the Mk4 a while back but ended up going with the Javelin Pro Duo from lavatools - a lot of the same high-end features and great quality for around $50. May be a good alternative....
