Just personal experience. I would replace the MS batteries within a month regularly, Logitech goes for months. Same eneloop batteries.

They make an okay mouse but it's unified Logitech for me all day long. The m317 usually goes on sale for $10 every few months. The unified dongle is a plus when they include it.

MS mice kill batteries at least 2x faster than Logitech. At least in my experience over the years. Not a big deal with rechargeable AAs, just annoying.
