Some rubber "dries" out with time and cracks, and others get tacky. It depends on what it's been exposed to. Could have been a product or even a chemical like isopropyl.

The is mainly as the automatic car wash does not do a good job of cleaning and uses harsh chemicals to strip dirt (and everything else) away. 303 is mainly a protectant. There are better cleaners....

That's a manufacturing defect caused by crappy plastic. All 2004-2008 Acura's have this problem. Don't expect 303 to fix defective materials.

I would be careful using it on the bottom part of the seat (wear you sit) it can let you slide around on the seat. I used this on my Zero turn mower vinyl seat and slid all over.
