I got them before last winter for my garage in Michigan. They work perfect. Very bright, no issues with cold like my old fluorescents, and easy to install. This is a killer deal.

You shouldn't have to mess with the ballasts at all. Just swap the bulbs. The last time I checked, Costco was clearancing out the tubes for $9.99 for 2. YMMV.
