I have no idea unfortunately, but the RAM I added was 3200 mhz like the stock RAM and it shows up as running at 2933. I don't know if there's a way to change the speed, the BIOS are pretty locked...

Thanks. It seems I'm unlucky and it may be the motherboard unfortunately. I ordered the charger adapter so I can try out a different charger tomorrow to rule it out as a possibility but let's see.
