Preferred by the average DIY or homeowner that doesn't have a $5000 saw and own a "real woodshop" business but just wants to make better cuts safely.

Yes. They're great for the money. And the diablo blades are usually better than the blade that came originally with your saw.

I will. And, BTW, I have my expensive 10" blades which I take out when needed, just 95% of time, the 7 1/4" "shitty" blade is better and safer. (it only takes 1 or two minutes to change the blade).

Kerf on a 7" blade is about 1/16" on a 10" is over 1/8", if you hook up an amp meter and cut a 2 x 4 with a 7 " blade and 10", you will see that it is about 1/3 amps (which means less wear and tear),...

Exactly. I’m not sure I would use them for framing or pressure treated lumber (fence or deck or something). They are great for finer work where cleaner cuts matter. I’m grabbing a pack.

Some cabinet shops do use 7-1/4" blades, mainly for ripping 1/2" baltic birch ply for drawers. But they are most definitely not using $5 diablo blades, more like Forrest or CMT

Careful. If you end up buying just a saw it will probably be this size, but if you end up with a kit there's a good chance the saw will be 6.5", making these useless.

You are not making a better cut with a $5 throw away blade than you would be with a proper 10" blade. Thats not even remotely close to being debatable.

That's not not entirely correct. If your table saw has a 5/8" arbor then these blades will fit. I use 7-1/4" blades all the time on my table saw because those blades have a thinner kerf.
