I think it's more that 6e is the final revision to the standard, I personally like waiting for things to get worked out but the price for this is tempting.

Honestly I don’t believe I have many devices that connect on the 2.4ghz band anymore. I think my WiFi thermostat does but could careless about the speed to that device.

2.4ghz looks like about 3x worse, on my s10 (wifi 6) it's about 100-150 mbps. Turns out on my pc, my wifi card isn't actually good enough to fully take advantage of the router. I'm testing upstairs...
