Seat cushions are faux leather, not vinyl. Where are you seeing vinyl? Faux leather is trash and isn’t durable at all. The seat cushions will flake and peel in a year or two with daily use.

If you want a forever set, this is not it. Honestly your best bet is craigslist or facebook marketplace. Look for stuff in the "good part of town" and just rent a uhaul or cargo van for the day.

Thanks for bringing up the weight. The marring will happen on any table and finish with a belt buckle. Harder woods such as maple oak or walnut will sustain more damage, but will also cost you alot...

wife asked to order this one. I regretted. It is poplar wood, not a typical hardwood. I cancelled the other ~$550 order which is a mango solid 72" table w/o chairs. Much better than this.
