I think they switched to ethyl alcohol as the active ingredient. I’ve smelt some that the local distilleries are making and sending out for people to make their own with aloe and it smells the same...

Been using ethyl alcohol for awhile. Though the formula has absolutely changed. It no longer says that it's "Made in the USA with US and Foreign parts". My guess is demand pegged capacity instantly...

According to CDC, soap and water will mechanically removed the pathogens but will never inactivate it. On other hand, an effective sanitizer will do the job by simply killing it.

I ordered some and noticed the same thing. I got it off amazon and thought it must be counterfeit because it smelled like the crappy no name hand sanitizer you can get everywhere now.
