I think so.I thought I would pick the plan and activate upon getting the device but Best buy activated the plan which was $65 for me. Maybe u can ask them to pick lowest one.

Might want to check delivery dates. BB is showing earliest Aug 24 pickup and Google store is showing early Sept delivery for me. Dates might go farther out the longer you wait.

You can buy a working cracked Pixel 3 on ebay for $86.91 after tax and Google will give you $110.50 for it. Total comes to $343.91 after tax. Not a huge savings, but something.
