Probably just as long as it has that plastic piece that goes in first so that it expands into the hole as you insert a screw.

No. You need a bit suitable for ceramic -- carbide tipped or diamond tipped (I would opt for the latter) AND take your time. EDIT: fixed misspelling.

Yes, but most likely will burn out the motor if you use it for too long. Get a hammer drill instead. Its cheap.

Are you drilling through porcelain or ceramic tile? If the former then only a diamond tipped bit will suffice. If the latter, then either a carbide tipped or a diamond tipped bit should work for you....

When you are working with brick, concrete or any masonry, please wear N95 grade masks as these stones have silica in them that can be harmful to your lungs. Don't take this lightly. It will screw up...
