I had that 66mhz..I think I paid $4,000 for it in a Hewlett Packard system. I played the crap out of Doom 2, but my all night multiplaying didn't start until Quake 2 w/ SLI Voodoo 2's. ...
I just played Tyrian recently due to Hackchi has it for the SNES mini. That game holds up well and I kept it on my Snes mini.

Fun fact, the original Doom had support for 3 monitors giving a panoramic pov. It did this by creating a 3 player multilayer game and using the 2 other players as the left and right view.

Doom 2 + the grappling hook mod = the best gaming of my life. In some ways that kind of action has never been recreated in other games, save for Unreal Tournament (facing worlds CTF map).
