Did you try macrium reflect? That is usually what I use and I've never had problems with it. You can also just clone the drives with linux using dd (you can just run linux off a usb drive to do it)....

I bought this last week and had to return it. I've cloned drives of different sizes before with no problem, but this drive just wouldn't work. It was extremely hot too. Maybe I had a bad drive though?
