I really need to find a way to replace my ego mower's 5.0 battery, which died this summer after 4 years. I refuse to pay the $250 price. Might as well just buy a new mower. EGO batteries are...

I researched this the last time this came on SD. It's basically a glorified phone charger.

Same here. There are power banks that are a fraction of the size and weight of a giant Ego battery.

lol @ this thing (and any other battery-driven inverters) being labeled as a "generator"

Not sure why it would be a surprise that a 150w inverter wouldn't power a fridge. The Ahr of the battery won't have any effect on the output of the inverter, it'll be 150w on a 2.5 or 7.5 battery....

it can, but remember it's just 150w, not much things this can power. I'm actually very disappointed at this product and not worth the $90 I paid

Modified sine wave I bet? Pass.

sump pumps tend to have a large amp draw when they first start up. I would be that it would trip the circuit breaker when this is only rated for 150w

I have ego 56v tools and batteries, and wish this thing was half decent, but it just isn't. It's underpowered, and produces a modified sine wave. Especially disappointing as the 40v ryobi version...

I bought one recently, tested it with a Multimeter and it put out only 75 Volts...tried with multiple batteries. I returned it. (it should put out 120 Volts or so). I saw other reviews showing...

A 150W inverter for $70 is a deal? I can go buy one for $20 at Target. It won't work with EGO batteries, but this is massively overpriced for what it is For this price, you should be able to...

I want to get an Ego mower, but am worried about the battery not lasting. Is it really that much eAsier to maintain?

ego batteries are great. I have 6, and have had several for years now. THey work very well, just like with anything else they can go bad, but their warranty is very good.

Chiming in that its very underpowered. Had it attached to a 7.5 battery and could only power very basic stuff that I didn’t need. Picked up the nexus battery station with 2 7.5 batteries for $799...

I could see this being useful for my sump pump during a power outage, wondering how long it would last though with a 5AH battery
