They're big enough to be OS install drives (and let other larger capacity drives handle most of your programs/data), especially on PCs that don't have any slots for M2.

I built bunches of Win servers with 80-100 gb OS partitions in the image. 120 is fine for workstations with network drives. 120/250 fine for Home with a second mechanical HDD in the box.
