Max of 4GB DDR2 RAM, USB 2.0, and yet... It still outperforms my i5-4210u laptop with 16 GB of RAM in just about everything. I've changed my CMOS battery twice in that bad boy.

Well, slightly is subjective, the k is 4.5? I think? The non-k is 2.6ghz I think.... so a considerable difference. If you want, think of it this way, the 'k' means they already overclocked it for...

Unless using high end GPU like 2080 or 2080Ti its not worth paying $700 to upgrade till DDR5 in 2022. 4790k works well with 10 Series and RTX 2060/RX5700
