Agree 100% with all of this lol. Onboard fan is incredibly powerful (and LOUD). Exhaust hose is always in the way of the outfeed table.

Every time I've looked at it in a comparison or review, they consider it the best "portable" planer. I put that in quotes because, at just under 100lbs, it isn't that damn portable.

Planers, especially straight blade planers, are among one of the loudest tools in shops.. That said, the 735 will quiet down quite a bit with a carbide helical cutter head.

Try using a right angle PVC fitting. That is what I did and it redirects the shavings off to the side instead of the direction of the out feed table.
