The LG has more ports, (fake) HDR10, FreeSync, and a pivoting screen. Maybe speakers, too. All things I didn't need in my WFH setup.

Hey there, have you tried configuring your monitor's settings? What's the model number, you should be able to increase the black level to see more dark details or mess with the black stabilizer.
