I agree, premium parts are a big upcharge, especially in laptops where you can't just buy a card and pop it in. I went with a 9750H and RTX 2060 when I picked up a gaming notebook a few months back...

Anything with 1050 Gfx should be discounted another $100. But probably still good for the CPU. I would just wait for something better and spend more for little better features. Eg. 144hz 16.1...

I have a 4GB 1050ti gaming laptop (Dell) and in my opinion it’s really starting to show its age. Even older titles like Overwatch and Fortnite struggle to maintain 60 fps. Just my 2 cents.
