Not really.... Plenty of 3rd party and one that has the DeWalt color scheme, but missing the DeWalt name. Otherwise, try doing a search for a DeWalt battery, like "dewalt dcb206," choose DeWalt brand...

The 2ah are smaller but the 3ah are far superior. The 3ah batteries use the same technology as Tesla for their cars. The cells are physically larger so the 3ah is the smallest possible battery that...

For all the people with clip issues. The steel they use on the clips is a low grade steel. Strong enough to support the weight but not crazy strong meaning you can bend the clips easily to accomodate...

There is no problem using these with the DCF887 with the clip attached. None whatsoever.

I have yet to see any DeWalt labeled “fake” batteries. But there are tons of 3rd party batteries from China. Maybe you’re thinking that.

At $20 per amp hour, it's hard to feel like this is all that good a deal. It's okay if you need some retail warrantied batteries and you need em now. IMO you're better off with the 3.0 and the per AH...

How do you maintain these batteries. I am not a regular user of these devices, but do they need to be recharged every few weeks. Or they can stay without charge for a few months.

You’re getting the 2ah and new 3ah confused. Also DeWalt updated their clips to accommodate the larger 21700 cells which is far superior than the old smaller 18650 cells

The newer 2ah compact batteries are flater and wider then the 4 and 5 ah batteries. When you go to physically slide them in the clip is in the way due to the width.

I agree, $10 per AH is what most consider to be a deal but it gets tougher with these smaller batteries since you are VERY unlikely to see 2 of these for $40 any time soon.
