I wish I didn't just buy the milwaukee version for almost $100 more. I like this form factor alot better. The Milwaukee decided to go super weird on the handle but I needed the offset on the spot and...

When actually drilling something, they both feel exactly the same (grip, handle, weight). I think the brushless is supposed to be slightly lighter but it's not noticeable at all. The only benefit of...

I have the brushed version. I also have a DeWalt hammer drill, dewalt impact driver, and a standard dewalt drill driver. I love this tool and I use it all the time. It lives in my van so it’s...

has anyone compared this to the Milwaukee Multi Head Drill? There's a free tool with the Milwaukee package right now

Not really, an impact driver won't help you drill through concrete. You need a hammer drill and proper masonry bits. The hammering action pushes the bit farther in the hole and it makes a huge...

Locking doesn’t exist on it. It constantly unlocks and falls off.

Its the standard Bosch 12v. Idk why the previous post is saying its super proprietary. Its the same 12v/10.8v battery bosch has used for the past decade+. Its one of the longest running battery lines...

Pretty sure you could get it for around $120 a few months ago. Know it for a fact because I bought this at $199 a year ago and I was a little bummed about it when I found out.

I think you're referring to the brushed model (GSR12V-140FCB22) which was selling for around $120 on sale. The one in this thread is brushless version which wasn't even released in the US until a few...

Great set for homeowners. If you need more power you should probably just invest in corded tools. I have this set and I always grab it first because it is so much more flexible and compact than...

I rather pay $99 for brush. Brushless does not deserve that premium of 60%

You can drive anchors with it and drill small holes, but you really need a hammer drill with SDS if you're going to be drilling into concrete frequently.
