I believe you should have had the item you wanted marked as in store pickup and the 2 items you don't want marked as ship ti home. I just did this and was able to cancel the 2 items I didnt want...

Yes, I used it for three items I ordered. When I cancelled two of the items, about $6.XX was taken off the item I actually kept, so saved me almost $5 given I had to buy the coupon for $.99.

Instead of refusing delivery, I would suggest to just accept it and return to store. It’s probably faster to get your return than to wait for your item to be shipped back.

You can return the items in store at the discounted rate in the invoice. It’s essentially the same as cancelling except you have to wait for the item to arrive and drive to Home Depot for the return.
